Matisse Style Aquariums

Mrs. Florczak’s Second graders used many types of materials to create these intricate aquariums. Students illustrated a story after reading the humorous tale “Memoirs of a Goldfish” and discussing it’s similarities to Matisse’s painting “Goldfish.”

Why Is Blue Dog Blue?

Fourth Grade gets a visit from Marc Stopeck of the Wednesday Journal

Head cartoonist Marc Stopeck and fourth graders at Mann School worked together to create an advertisement for Tasty Dog. After discussing how to lay out an ad, each student selected a business and created their own advertisement. Winner of the annual Design An Ad Contest will be announced soon!
